At 1104Health, we believe that the future of healthcare lies in bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world patient care.
We’ve all seen someone we love face cancer—and what happens when the system doesn’t show up.
We’re a team of builders, survivors, caregivers, oncologists and believers who know it doesn’t have to be this way.
We’re creating the tools we wish every oncologist and patient had: real support, real connection, and a better path to the right care—together.
Our mission is to replace fragmented cancer care with a shared care model—one that keeps physicians connected, in control, and at the center of every patient’s journey. We’re building the infrastructure for real collaboration across oncology, so trials, subspecialists, and support become part of routine care—not a separate system patients and doctors have to navigate alone.
I’m the chief patient advocate at 1104Health, navigating patients in their journey to find the best care. I was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic melanoma in 2009 and told there was not a viable treatment option, that I didn’t have much time. I learned the importance of clinical trials. Helping patients understand this process is my purpose.
My passion is helping patients to reach-out new treatments for their diseases. At 1104Health I lead the engineering team for development of the product.

Lara lost her father to cancer at a young age, inspiring a lifetime dedication to finding answers to better care in oncology. At 1104Health, she is able to build tools and services that will ensure that every patient with cancer gets access to all potential treatment options and the best care possible.
As the Product Manager at 1104Health, I bridge the gap between business and engineering. I joined 1104Health to make a meaningful impact; as a cancer survivor, I am passionate about ensuring every patient has access to the treatment options they deserve.
Rose Wang is a serial technology entrepreneur, angel investor and cancer patient advocate. My personal painful experience is a reminder and personal motivator to help cancer patients and their caregivers learn the “big picture” about cancer care ecosystem and clinical trials as care options from day one.
I lead integration across teams to make our vision come to life, and I joined 1104Health because I’m passionate about opening access and opportunity for everyone.
I lead the design of 1104Health’s user experience. As a cancer survivor, I understand how crucial it is to understand all of your options. I’m passionate about improving patient outcomes by increasing access to innovative therapies.

We envision a future where clinical trials are no longer seen as a last resort, but as an integral part of patient care and treatment planning process from day one of the patient’s journey. As Precision Medicine increasingly becomes reality in patient care, we can see a world where there is a trial option for every patient at the beginning, middle and end of their treatment journey. And physicians and patients no longer have to exert extraordinary efforts to learn about clinical trials and enroll if appropriate. By continuing to build these essential connections, we aim to increase participation in clinical trials, improve patient outcomes, and drive the discovery and adoption of better treatments for diseases like cancer.
At 1104Health, we’re more than just a clinical trial recruitment service, we’re the link between today’s care and tomorrow’s treatments.
1104Health serves as a bridge between clinical researchers, primary care physicians, and patients to increase and accelerate trial enrollment. Our role is providing tech and services to quickly download physicians on Trial IP, prescreen patients for clinical trials, connect the dots to ensure seamless communication between the care team, and provide free patient navigation. Our goal is to increase clinical trial participation and accelerate the discovery of new treatments.
We work closely with primary care physicians to help them understand trial opportunities and prescreen appropriate patients. Our efforts and toolset then ensure a smoother, faster enrollment process. We have 1:1 patient navigators guiding them along the way to educate, set expectations, and close the communication loop with all parties. Patient navigation is a free service.
Through our 1104Health Network, we build strong relationships with primary care physicians, keeping them informed about relevant clinical trials for their patients. Physicians can access all trials on the 1104Health platform for quick access to Trial IP and prescreener. We also connect them with the Principal Investigators (PIs) leading the trials, ensuring clear communication and regular updates about their patients’ progress.
The Patient App is a tool we offer is for patient self-referrals, or for physician-referred patients to learn more about relevant trial matches. It helps patients find trials that match their specific needs, educates them about the trial process, and connects them with the clinical trial team. It also keeps primary care physicians informed about their patients’ participation and progress.
Clinical trials can provide access to new treatments that may not be available through standard care. 1104Health works with both patients and their primary care physicians to review the trial’s criteria, benefits, and risks to ensure it is a good fit for the patient’s unique medical situation.
Clinical trial sponsors benefit from our comprehensive recruitment services, including patient pre-screening, outreach campaigns, and connections with primary care physicians. We help boost participation rates, reduce trial delays, and ensure smoother trial operations by connecting you with eligible patients through our extensive network.
Physicians are compensated at fair market value for their time prescreening patients for clinical trials. Once a physician joins the 1104Health network, they have access to the tools for prescreening, as well as the opportunity for compensation.
It is free for physicians to join the 1104Health network, and patient navigation is a free service provided within.
